Welcome to the NuTLC Website

The Newcastle upon Tyne Lacrosse Club (NuTLC) is the northern most lacrosse club in England. The club consists of a men's section and a women's section. The men's team, also known as the Newcastle Knights, competes in the North of England Men's Lacrosse Association league. The women's team currently plays in a number of tournaments and friendly matches, and is looking to enter the league in September 2012.

NuTLC is the only community-based lacrosse club in the North East and the club works closely with the English Lacrosse Association to bring lacrosse to local the region. We have also recently secured strong links with Newcastle University to help develop their men's lacrosse programme, offering high quality coaching, refereeing and umpiring, as well as additional training and competitive games for those interested (men's and women's). In return Newcastle University have kindly provided their 3G Astroturf pitch for training sessions and games during the winter months, making NuTLC one of the few teams in the country to have access to such world class facilities.

During the season trainings will take place every Thursday from 20:00 to 22:00 at Newcastle University's Longbenton Sports Centre. Directions can be found here. Keep an eye on the news section for updates about the Men's Team, Women's Team, the Club, Newcastle University and lacrosse in general.

Calling all lax fans....

We have an open door policy at the club, welcoming all players from complete beginners to seasoned veterans. We are looking for both players and volunteers for the men's team, women's team and our community development programmes.

Everyone is welcome and we have equipment we can lend you! Home games are played on our pitch at the Newcastle City Cricket Club in Gosforth. Changing facilities, toilets and a bar are available in the clubhouse. The ground is easily accessible by public transport, and is minutes from the A1 and Newcastle city centre. See the "Contact Us" section for directions to the pitch and come on down!

If you're interested in any way, please feel free to get in contact. Contact details can be found in the "Contact Us" section of the website.
