More after the jump.... Courses - Pre Season Referees Seminar11/09/2011 By - Sour This year's Pre-Season NEMLA Refs Seminar takes place next sunday (18 September) at Manchester Wacs LC. It runs from 0930 until 1530, and is open to all panel and club referees. It's billed as a great refresher and update session - without food, so if you're going, take your own. The ELA have announced a Level 1 (including Level 2 Refresher) Refereeing course to be held at Newcastle Uni on Sunday 9 October 2011. Due to a change in League rules, NEMLA will cover the cost of any player who wished to take the course. The cost of this is £50. With the increase in BUCS games you can be up and reffing in no time. See the ELA website for some more info, and get in touch before you book so that we can arrange for the league to cover your costs. Club News - AGM Postponed26/05/2011 By - Sour Sincere apologies for the late notice (on here) but the AGM tomorrow night is postponed due to events outside our control. Notice of the new date will be sent out ASAP. Club News - Mark Webb Selected for England15/05/2011 By - Sour Congratulations to Mark Webb who's made the 23 for England's World Indoor Championship Campaign in Prague. The tournament starts on 21 May with England drawn against favourites Canada, Australia and newcomers Slovakia, but England face a week long training camp under head coach (and head coach of the NLL's Washington Stealth) Chris Hall All the best to Mark and the rest of the lads, and we'll try to keep you up-to-date with the team's progress .
