This year's Pre-Season NEMLA Refs Seminar takes place next sunday (18 September) at Manchester Wacs LC.

It runs from 0930 until 1530, and is open to all panel and club referees.

It's billed as a great refresher and update session - without food, so if you're going, take your own.

Hello there! It's been a while, but here we are again.

The ELA have announced a Level 1 (including Level 2 Refresher) Refereeing course to be held at Newcastle Uni on Sunday 9 October 2011.

Due to a change in League rules, NEMLA will cover the cost of any player who wished to take the course. The cost of this is £50.

With the increase in BUCS games you can be up and reffing in no time.

See the ELA website for some more info, and get in touch before you book so that we can arrange for the league to cover your costs.

Big Congratulations to Woody and Claire who passed their Level 1 Refereeing exam today in Durham.

6 out of the 7 people doing the Level 1 award passed, as did Higg who was doing his Level 2.

Congrats to all three of them.

The ELA has announced a Men's Refereeing course for Sunday 7 November (after the York home game) at Durham University.

Times are 0930 to approx 1630

the course may be £50, but you can earn £25 per match as a league panel ref, and a similar wedge for refereeing BUCS games on Wednesdays.
