Due to various circumstances (e.g. me breaking my hand amongst others) this season has seen a dreadful drop in standards with regards to match reports. Last season may have been the zenith in both terms of quantity and quality of website related news, views, opinions, whimsical speculation and interviews, but this season shall not slide into ignominy.

Tomorrow's Stockport Cup game against Mellor will be played at Northumbria University's Coach Lane Sports Centre on their 3G pitch.

To get there follow directions to training, but turn off at the lighte

Well by jingo, by crikey, what a weekend. Not only was the weather nice, but there was some hard-core super competitive cup final lacrosse.

The location: The Rockerdome (aka Redbrook Field the home of Rochdale LC). The weather: sunny and pushing 20 C both days. The result: some sparkling games highlighting the best of Northern Lacrosse.

It's almost that time of year again....the sun is out, the weather is heating up, the grounds are firming up, and it's off to Rochdale for the Festival.

The first weekend of March saw another gameless Saturday for the Newcastle Knights, as any potential opponents were tied up in league and cup matches. A handful of Knights headed down to Broadway West to mark out the pitch, do some fitness and play a cheeky game of HORSE. Others took the day off to play rugby, catch up on work or prepare themselves for the Yorkshire trials on Sunday.
