Well by jingo, by crikey, what a weekend. Not only was the weather nice, but there was some hard-core super competitive cup final lacrosse. The location: The Rockerdome (aka Redbrook Field the home of Rochdale LC). The weather: sunny and pushing 20 C both days. The result: some sparkling games highlighting the best of Northern Lacrosse. The first weekend of March saw another gameless Saturday for the Newcastle Knights, as any potential opponents were tied up in league and cup matches. A handful of Knights headed down to Broadway West to mark out the pitch, do some fitness and play a cheeky game of HORSE.
