Due to various circumstances (e.g. me breaking my hand amongst others) this season has seen a dreadful drop in standards with regards to match reports. Last season may have been the zenith in both terms of quantity and quality of website related news, views, opinions, whimsical speculation and interviews, but this season shall not slide into ignominy.

It’s that time of year again when the inevitable poor winter weather that has wreaked havoc on the league and cup schedules comes back to bite us.

As a result this weekend’s scheduled game against Poynton has been postponed to all them to play a cup game against Nottingham.

The Knights will instead be travelling to Stopfordians for a key match-up in the Prem 2 relegation scrap.

This is the latest of what is likely to be a significant number of re-arrangements, keep your eye on nutlax.com for updates when we get them.

To get there follow directions to training, but turn off at the lighte

The Battle of the Bulge was brought on by a German counter offensive through the Ardennes in the winter of 1944/45, and was the scene of some of the worst conditions of WW2 in the European theatre. Now I’m not trying to belittle or trivialise the actual event, but it was pretty cold in Nottingham on Saturday and some of us were looking a bit heavy after the Christmas break….
