So….maybe my timeline was a bit screwy, but here’s the first instalment of the lost match reports. December in the UK is a terrible time for lacrosse; a lot of people are injured or scared of the weather, which following 2010/11’s winter is pretty reasonable in my “exalted” opinion. What this does mean, is that we tend to struggle our backsides off to turn teams out, and this was no exception. By - Sour
In a number of sports a 4-3 score line would be seen as a reason for extended highlights and hyperbolic clichés from the assembled astronomically remunerated pundits. This is obviously not the case in lacrosse. Generally one would expect a 4-3 game of lacrosse to be described as turgid or scrappy. This wasn’t really either of those….it was enthralling. Regardless of any chatter around the league regarding restructures, the second relegation spot is looming large for both sides.
