With both men’s and ladies’ teams in action this weekend here’s the low down on their exploits.
Saturday saw the Knights break Liverpool’s undefeated league season with an 8-6 victory, that was the only game played in Prem 3 this weekend. Chester picked up a concession from York, and Oldham the same from Hull both due to transport failures.

The results see Liverpool still top with a 6-1 record, Oldham second at 4-3, The Knights then show in third with 4-2 but with the tie-breaking win over Oldham. Leeds and York are at 3-2, Hull 2-4 and Chester 1-5. Liverpool still look odds on to go up barring a colossal melt-down, but the second promotion spot is all to play for with Oldham, ourselves, York and Leeds all in the hunt.

Sunday saw the Ladies in their first run out of the season at the West London Tournament in Liverpool. Early losses to Stockport (4-1) and West London (5-1) and Welsh Dragons (or Wales as they’re also known 8-0) were rectified by a 3-1 win over Liverpool Uni saw the Ladies finish in third in their group, just missing out on the semi-finals. So-and-so came out winners overall beating thingy in the final.

Full reports of the Liverpool game and the tournament in Liverpool will follow during the week, so stay tuned to www.nutlax.com
