With only 2 games this week, due to the postponement of our game with Stops under tragic circumstances this is going to be lighter on content than usual.
Firstly Poynton tonked a short benched Nottingham side 20-2 mainly by feeding the crease.
Secondly Norbury lost at home to Brooklands 15-5 with Brooklands seemingly doing to the “mean greens” exactly what they did to us, dominating transition.
That leaves the league looking like this:

Mellor 4-0-1
Poynton 3-1
Norbury 2-3
Newcastle 1-3
Nottingham 1-2
Stops 0-3
Liverpool 0-3
And making next week’s trip to Norbury a more massive game than it was already going to be.
