Ashton Away December 5 2009
The Newcastle Knights travelled down to a very wet Ashton under Lyme to play, what happened to be, their last game of 2009. The game was attended by the likes of Neil Crosby of Yorkshire Lacrosse fame, and many players' parents braved the weather to come and watch. Some of those parents luckily brought along their cameras to capture the action. The Knights emerged as worthy victors, defeating Ashton by a score of 9-2.
Edinburgh 8s August 2009
The Newcastle Knights attended the Edinburgh 8s festival for the second year running. The boys walked away from the tournament, once again, with the Plate, this time in the form of a small cup. Hoo-rah!
