Mylo, whilst not being an original Knight, is certainly from the first generation. Coming to Northumbria Uni in the autumn of 2008, he turned out for his 3 years in the north east before relocating to Manchester and transferring to Poynton. Following another move he transferred back during the 2012/13 season and has been a sporadic feature ever since.
He's a member of the Wales squad for the World Champs, and this is his Road to Denver
Of our guys going to Denver, Kyle's journey is the shortest, although he'll have done the most miles prior to getting there.....
Kyle was in the North East at Durham Uni for the 2008-2009 season where he took the opportunity to rock out in the Silver and Black for a year. Here's his Road to Denver....
Ross is an original Knight, one of the select few to make that first trip to Bluesfest in 2008. He was in Newcastle studying (at Northumria) to be a Physiotherapist, a career that's taken him to the brink of being able to play for Singapore in Denver, and back to the UK.
Ross worked with the Austrian National Team at Manchester in 2010. This is his Road to Denver.
Mark "Buckers" Buckley is heading to Denver in an official capacity. Whilst he's not been appointed as an ambassador or anything, he will be officiating the lacrosse.
Here's his Road to Denver
Coming up in the next couple of week we'll be building up to the 2014 World Lacrosse Championships in Denver.
We'll be bringing you some stories from our representatives at the tournament before the show kicks off. During the tournament we'll have daily updates and if the guys can get some time, some notes from the boys.
The first of the feature sets that we'll be running is "My Road to Denver", which we'll be starting towards the end of this week.
A number of Knights (and former Knights) have been called to represent their countries at this summer's 2014 World Lacrosse Championship in Denver USA.
Spring/Summer training is at West Jesmond Fields on Mondays from 1830 until dark.
Previews, match reports and general musings from the Toon and beyond.
