Here's your weekly dose of gossip and intrigue (and of course results and standings) for the 13 October games.
Starting with what could be seen as the most obvious result of the weekend...Chester couldn't get a team to travel to Leeds. This result is currently shown as a postponement, but you can never be sure, and Leeds will probably fancy themselves to get a better result than a 1-0 win.
Newcastle topped Oldham 14-4 to hop above Leeds in the table (Chester result pending) into third on equal points with Oldham.
Liverpool continued their strong form smashing Hull 21-4 to remain undefeated and top of the league with Hull dropping below bye-weekers York on goal difference into sixth.
So the table looks a bit like this
Liverpool 6-0 +50 12 (wins-losses, goal difference, points)
Oldham 3-3 +19 6
Newcastle 3-2 +9 6
Leeds 2-3 +9 4
York 2-2 -17 4
Hull 2-3 -34 4
Chester 0-5 -36 0
