Here's you weekly babble about this week's results, and a wee look forward to next week's undoubtedly vital fixtures.
As I'm sure you're all aware, York were all on holiday, and as such couldn't get a team out. That's gone down as a 1-0 win to us.
Liverpool beat up Chester 19-8, but didn't play Oldham on Sunday as they were supposed to due to having half a team missing due to a mixed tournament.
In the other game of the day, a Yorkshire derby for want of a better phrase, Leeds beat Hull 9-4 to keep up their unbeaten run against their neighbours.
Those two games and two non-games leave the table looking like this:
So there we are joint on points with Liverpool, and having the tie-breaking head-to-head, we would win the league if it finished today. However, as the more eagle eyed amongst you may have noticed, they have a game in hand.
With 2 games to play we are the masters of our own destiny. A single win may well be enough to have us promoted depending on our result against Oldham - who have to win out their final three games to overtake us.
We can still win the league - if Liverpool lose one (or more) of their remaining games and we win all of ours. It's a bit complicated and as I have a wicked hangover (still) I can't quite get my head round it.
All we have to do to give ourselves a chance of some more silverware is to keep winning. And on that note, I'll leave you until next week
